Bwahahahahah! Where I lived while I was growing up, sewing was a necessity; definitely not a luxury saved until the work was done! Most of the time it *was* part of the work. But then I don't suppose the Madison Ave. copywriter had much experience with the kinds of lives we lived. Thanks for sharing!
