Burn Baby Burn

Hi There!

Holly Guacamole its been hot and humid!!!

Yes, I know its not as hot as in some parts of the world....
but for my city - its HOT!!!

Flash back to the 70's with Disco Inferno !!!!

Last week, I was on vacation and barely did any sewing....
too darn hot for me.
I would just sit in my Sewing Studio and look around.  LOL

This evening, I finished my 2nd Fussy Cut Hexie Flower!

Thanks to the lovely fabric that Cyn had sent me,
I was able to make 6 fried eggs and the Rooster in the center.
Cute, eh?

Last week, I made my 1st Fussy Cut Hexie Flower!

Do you every lose your "Mojo"?

Hopefully my "Mojo" will come back, soon.

Have a great week!

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N !!!

Hi There!

Yesterday, at 4h01 p.m., I officially started a week's vacation.
And, once again, I will try and maintain my vacation journal.

That's about it....

Gilbert has decided to stay home and man the fort.

Me?  I've got a 3 day trip planned.

I'll be leaving Monday morning and heading up North of my province.

I should be back by Wednesday.

And Friday morning,
I'll be going to St. Andrews-by-the-Sea.

If you're bored or just plain curious,
check out my Vacation Journal.
I should be updating it, every morning.

Hope you're having a Wonderful Weekend!

Here's a song, sung by the Muppets, that should keep you entertained for a bit...

To my friend, Anna from QuiltMom,
I hope you get a chance

as you had mentioned, earlier.

Sunny with a warm wind -
What could be better, eh?

Hope you're all having
a SUPER SUNDAY!!!

Our Canada Day (garden veggie) Burgers!

Hi There!

Sometimes you just gotta break outta your shell
and try something new.

Gilbert is a vegetarian.

If its got "eyes"
-  'cept for potatoes -
he ain't eatin' it!

Earliest this week at Costco,
I picked up a box of (frozen)
"Garden Vegetable" burgers.

"Were they good?", you ask.

"Good??  There were DELICIOUS!!!!!"

Did you know that Costco guarantees their "house" product?
I'm not sure about the rest of Canada
or elsewhere, but in my city,
their "house" product is "Kirkland".

If you try something and you don't like it,
they'll take it back!
No problem.
Anyhow, if you're looking for a
different kind of burger
- whether you're vegetarian or not -
these are GREAT!!!

our American cousins!!!
