High Five Me, Please!

 Hi There!

I managed to finish Step 5 of Bonnie Hunter's new mystery quilt, called "Easy Street".

Just under the wire!

Here's a close-up of the blocks that I made, for Step 5.  I think they're called "Fat Hens".

And I had a surprise "bonus" last week.  My cousin gave me a big bag of fabric that belonged to her mother-in-law.... who's since passed away.  I found a panel of "labels" and GUESS WHAT!?!??!

I found TWO labels that are EXACTLY the colors that Bonnie recommends for her mystery quilt!!!

There's lime greens, turquoises and purples all around the edge. The only thing missing is the greys.

Sooooooo......
If you're doing Bonnie Hunter's "Easy Street" Mystery quilt in Bonnie's recommended colors and you're the type that FINISHES quilt projects AND you're serious about finishing this one, please leave a comment down below and I'll send you my 2nd label.  Now, if there is more than one comment, I'll draw a name.  *s*

Can't wait till tomorrow....
Step 6 will be published!!!

Hmmm...I AM doing the mystery quilt in these colours and I LOVE the label, but I'm not generally know for finishing things that quickly LOL!! Does that mean I'm out of the running for that pretty label? LOL

Ha, those labels couldn't be more perfect! The units look fabulous all lined up on your design wall. I hope we start making blocks out of some of these units this week.

Consider your self High Fived!! I just love your grand design wall and that you can put all your blocks up on it! I have seen a lot of different names for this block and Fat Hens is as good as any of the others that I've seen. I would love to have your extra label. I am doing the quilt in Bonnie's recommended colors as well & it would be perfect. I had a bonus surprise myself, but wasn't as impressive as yours. My sister-in-law gave me a small bag of left overs from when she was sewing bears. She would make the bears out of fur and make clothes for it. The leftovers I got were from the clothes, not the fur! Looking forward to tomorrow!

Wow... you get a High 5 & a whoop whoop! You're really clicking along. I plan to make ES, too, but can't do it right now.
Congrats on getting the perfect label. Huge score!
