On the 26th of June, 2008, a small group of us doing the "Dear Jane" quilt,
(AKA "Janiacs") got together.
We exchanged "Siggies" - those are "Signature Blocks".
Well, I'm usually the type that procrastinates... hemming and hawing and never sure and
thinking, "Yes, I should do that, some day..."
Anyhow, I had SOOO much fun at our get together and wanted to have a "keepsake" of our day together, that I put my foot to the metal and finished off this wall hanging,
with everyone's Siggies blocks.
I will be taking this to work, on Monday and hanging it up, in my office...
And remembering all the warm, fuzzy, nice feelings that I had that day! *VBG*
Thanks to those that "signed" blocks, for me! *s*
Here's the quilt top, finished and hanging on the clothes line, outside.
Because I didn't have enough blocks to make this
the size that I wanted,
I added 2 more blocks...
Thanks to Constance Ross, who send me a WONDERFUL link,
on how to make "corner pockets", for wall hangings!
SOOOOO easy and SOOOO pratical!!!! *VBG*
And for those of you out there that are wondering "how" did she quilt this?.....
Well, THAT'S easy!!
With my sewing machine and "in the ditch" and
nothing fancy smancy!!
Wanted this "baby" on my office wall, ASAP!!! *grin*
That's about it! I finally can say that I have "another" project finished....
Now, back to those darn UFO'S (UFO = Un-Finished Objects)!!!!
Have a great sewing day!!!!
