Installing Spring....

Hi There!

Yesterday, on April Fool's day and much to my disgust, we got a mini snow storm. Enough to cause some grief in my life. For your information, ALL snow and ice had melted away in my city and Gilbert had even put away the shovels and our (car) snow brush last weekend!

The snow started around 11 a.m. yesterday and stopped around 5 p.m. It must have snowed a bit more during the night 'cause our car had to be cleaned off AGAIN, this morning.

We're talking about 8 inches of snow!

Thankfully, it was the wet kind and will probably disappear in a day or two!

This morning, I opened our back door and took a picture, for your viewing pleasure.

And speaking of "weather", this past Thursday, I received THIS, in my email box.

I thought you might get a chuckle from it.

Have yourselves a Wonderful Weekend!

Rosa

There is a big snow storm down south this weekend but so far we have avoided it. Calgary and Cochrane got one similar to your storm.
Thanks for the laugh and the photo f the attic window quilt.
In the end I applied the panels to the background once I made the background big enough to fit the panels. The blocks are on so I am going to try and get the borders on it. I don't expect that I will get it quilted before next weekend but hopefully I will get it started and finish it by Easter. I need to take it to school to spray baste and make the backing etc - I return to the classroom on Monday- The week off has passed way to quickly- other things like going to the dentist, getting a hair cut etc needed to done too.
I think he will like it-
Regards,
Anna
