I Can (H)Ear!!!!

Hi There!

I updated our 3 A Quilting
"Photo Album Page".

If you get a chance, check out the Eye Candy!

Yesterday, Gilbert found time to quilt my "Happily Scrappily Red", one of Bonnie Hunter's patterns called "Happily Scrappily Irish".

In her book, she used scraps.

Since I've recently been smitten with the colors red, white and smidgeons of black, I decided to make a lap quilt with these colors, in scrap fabrics.

(yes, those are my feet,
sporting my red, winter croc-wannabes)

(a closer close-up pic,
taken INSIDE, while on Bertha...
See the Canadian flags???)

Now, I need to bind and label this baby.

Now, as for the title of my blog...

For the past 3 weeks, I've had a plugged ear and this has been driving me literally MAD - as in "crazy" mad!

I finally managed to see my family Doctor, this past week and he wasn't able to clean it out 'cause he said there was hardened ear wax plugging it and I needed to soften it up, with oil.

I HAD been adding oil to my ear, but not enough, apparently.

Here's what he recommended...
4 drops of mineral or olive oil
for
4 times per day
for
4 days.

I've been calling it the Magic Four.

Anyhow, I've been doing this Magic Four trick since last Wednesday. I'm to see him NEXT Wednesday and even though it will be more than FOUR days, I don't give a rat's a$$ - I'm sick and tired of having one ear plugged!

Well, all day yesterday, my ear was crackling and popping and....

HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At supper time, it finally "popped" clear!!!

I could hear the TV better and Gilbert's wonderful voice and this morning? I heard the birds chirping outside!!!

Yes, I'm still continuing with the oil treatment and YES, I will still see the Doctor, so that he can rinse it clean, anyhow.

As the expression goes,
"Walk a Mile in My Shoes"...

I now know what it feels like
to be hearing impaired!!!

And.....

I thought I'd share a "funny" with you,
that I recently got on the internet.

Thought you might enjoy a Sunday morning chuckle.

*grin*

Actually, I think Men have this already.
It's already built into their ear!

LOL

Hope you get some fun time, today, with your sewing machine.

Me?

Laundy, dishes, bake a cake and in between all of that?

Yes... you'll find me in my
Sewing Studio!

I hope put aside my Nine Patch blocks, tackle a couple packed boxes AND work on the remaining Batik Blocks!

Have a Smashing Sunday!

Rosa
