Sewing - WOVEN Tumbling Blocks Course

Hi there!

Yesterday morning, I left the house at 7h15 a.m. and made the 3 hour drive to Bangor, Maine, USA. We were getting together, a few other Janiacs... to finally meet... What fun!!!

Today, a few of us had asked the store owner, Evelyn if she could organize a course on the new technique, to make "Tumbling Blocks".

You sew a bunch of "strips", and weave them together, to make these GORGEOUS "quilts"!

Here are a few quilters, working on their "Tumbling Blocks".

Amazing what lovely colour combinations some of them have chosen!

And this is Sheila Belyea's (hexagon) tumbling blocks!

I will post a picture of mine, later. I had decided to make the table runner.
