Hi There!
Got up this morning and it's a
Rainish / Blusterish kind of day.
You know what that translates into, right?!??!
SEWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*VBG*
Headin' downstairs, in a wee bit
and will probably (hopefully?)
have a Show 'n Tell,
this evening,
with you. *grin*
Here's a poem that my friend, Judi,
sent to me by email.
I thought I'd share... *s*

ODE TO MY WIFE THE QUILTER
She learned to quilt on Monday,
Her stitches were very fine,
She forgot to thaw out dinner,
So we went out to dine.
She quilted miniatures on Tuesday,
She says they are a must,
They really were quite lovely,
But she forgot to dust.
On Wednesday it was a sampler,
She says the stippling's fun,
What hi-lites! What shadows!
But the laundry wasn't done.
Her patches were on Thursday,
Green, yellow, blue and red,
I guess she really was engrossed,
She never made the bed.
It was wall hangings on Friday,
In colors she adores,
It never bothered her at all,
The crumbs on all the floors.
I found a maid on Saturday,
My week is now complete,
My wife can quilt the hours away,
The house will still be neat
.
Well, it's already Sunday,
I think I'm about to wilt,
I cursed, I raved, I ranted,
The MAID has learned to QUILT!

Rosa,
It's raining?? Yes, a perfect day to sew but not to sight-see!!
How cold is it??
Hope you have a great day!
Hugs,
Elaine
Hi Rosa,
Its cool and grey today here so it is the perfect day to be inside doing something creative. Fall looks drab in this light and makes me want to curl up with a good book but I have some things I should get finished first. I will leave the computer and get some work done around here.
I love Maxine- she is hilarious - quite irrasciable and irreverent but loveable in her own cantankerous way. She always makes me grin.
Cute poem too.
Hugs,
Anna
