Brenda's Salad

Hi There!

Well, this past weekend, as you might know,
I made some "Yankee Buns" and provided
the recipe, right?

Well, one of my blog followers (Brenda)
posted a VERY funny comment.

This is what Brenda wrote:

I can't believe you did that!I gained three pounds yesterday just reading the post on the darn rolls. Now you want me to cook them up so I can gain another five? I'll keel over, go into a diabetic shock, need an insulin drip! ARGH! Bad blogger, bad! Now post some pics of a veggie salad and share the low cal dressing recipe to make up for this transgression. LOL!

So, Brenda, in your honour
and as a special "Thanks"
for making me bust a gut,
laughing at your comment,
I decided to create....
"Brenda's Salad"!!!

NOTE: You will need a teenage boy
or a Better Half, when you prepare this salad.

INGREDIENTS:

1 iceberg lettuce leaf
(cut in 1/4 to 1/2 inch strips)

1 Banana
(Cut both ends, at 1/2 inch + 2 inches of center,
sliced in half)

3 (only) Clementine or Tangerine segments

2 Pecan pieces

1 pear
(cut 2 outer edge slices)

DIRECTIONS:
Arrange in a plate.

No Salad Dressing required.
Eat slowly, so as to savor
each and every delicious morsel.

Enjoy, Brenda!!!!

LOL

Rosa

P.S. Why do you need a teenage boy
or Better Half, when you prepare this?

Why, to eat the leftover ingredients,
that aren't in this salad, of course!!!

LOL

Sorry about that...I need spellcheck!
Wait a second, that does NOT look as yummy as the rolls...but then salads never do, do they? Thanks for the laughs, B=)
PS...Maybe some Whipped Cream hair instead of lettuce hair??? Just a thought, LOL!
