Happy 2%

Hi There!

Okay, I don't know about you, but I was getting tired about the "Queen's Log"... LOL

Saw a commercial on TV, recently, that said "Happy 2010" and the 2010 morphed into 2%. It was a commercial about interest rates and a bank or credit card. Some silly thing like that. Anyhow, I thought it was kinda cool, that 2010 could be morphed into 2%.

ALLLL.... RIGHT.... back to my regular nonsensical chatter.

"What cha do, yesterday?", you ask. Well, got up, grabbed a home brewed coffee and got "dressed" (read to go out into the public).

Around 11 a.m., my Aunt and I left to go the the "Mayor's Levee". Does anyone else have this in their town or city.... or are we the only ones?

Well, I had always wanted to do this - it was on my mini Bucket List. *grin*

You want my final grade on this? I would give it a 5 out of 10. Finger foods were so-so, only met the Mayor as we were leaving. The counsellors didn't have name tags or whatever. NONE of them mingled with the crowd to introduce themselves! Well, at least they didn't introduce themselves to us.

*long sigh*

As least I shook the Mayor's hand. I'll bite my tongue (or tie up my fingers, in this case) and say that perhaps this "Bucket List" thing needs to be revised. LOL

Arrived here around 1h30 a.m., changed my clothes and started playing in my Sewing Studio. I prepped my basket block, for January's BOM and started to work on it, as Gilbert and I watched some T.V., in the evening.

That's it, for yesterday's activities.

This morning, it's 9h00 a.m., as I type this and they're calling for a major snow storm. It's already started, even.

Snow Storm on weekend = SEWING!!!!!

Gotta run!

Have a great weekend!
