500th post = A Blog-test

UPDATE !!!!

Contest ends 14th of August 2010,
at midnight !!!!

Hi There!

Who'dah thunk, eh?

Wow - do "I" have a lot to say, eh?!?!?
*pointing at herself*

LOL

Well, last Monday, while in Calais, Maine,
I picked up 2 cute Victorian-type wall panels,
for Halloween.

I'm giving one of these pre-washed panels away.

All's you need to do is tell me that you'd like to win,
or something to that effect.

And, if you mention what kind of fabrics you're collecting....
like polka dots, or civil war, or 30's or whatever -
you might find a little something extra
in your win-package!
*grin*

Here's a close-up of the center
of this panel.

And you even get a cute
label, for the back!

How neat is that, eh?

Contest starts now.
Finishes 14th of August, 2010
at midnight !!!!!!

Good luck!

Rosa

500th post? Wow!
I'd love to have the wall panel, but who wouldn't?
I've recently started collecting civil war prints and am fascinated by them but I love all retro and vintage fabric.

Congratulations on your 500th post, Rosa; that's amazing! I love the panel of the little girl. I make quilts for the USO Reading Room at DFW Airport. The soldiers read a book on tape to their child(ren) and can send the book, tape and a blanket (if desired) to their child(ren). In other words, I collect bright, kid-friendly, fabrics. 8) I also like pastels, batiks and 30s retro.

Take care,
Susan in Texas

Congratulations, Rosa, on your 500th post. I think you really have a ton more, though, if you count the many people you have talked into creating and writing a blog! ... me included!
Love this little panel. Now that my Grands have moved to Hawaii, it would be great to make them a WH for fall.
Fabrics? I'm looking for a couple of CW plaids or stripes for a CWD block.
Hugs,
/; -)

Rosa,
Congratulations on your 500th post- that is a great milestone- I don't know that I will ever get there.
I love the panel- it is such a fun and old fashioned fun panel- it would look great on my classroom door don't you think LOL. Someone will be cheering when you draw their name..

I collect lots of fabrics but I have been collecting Kaffe Fassett fabrics and batiks. I also have a black and white collection going these days.
Happy blogging and enjoy your new long arm,
Warmest regards,
Anna

I love the panel. So cute, and I have some Halloween fabrics I've been collecting that would look great with it. 500 posts. Congratulations!!! I guess I need to get busy.

Hi Rosa,

It'll be a long time before I get to 500 posts!!! So congratulations on your milestone!!

I too liked the table runner you showed in the earlier post, that was blank in the middle. I have a "lazy Susan" in the centre of my table so it covers the special parts of the table runners!!! So I reckon that was a good idea.

What am I collecting? Currently any shiney/satiny/silky/taffeta/lace or lacey fabrics for Crazy Quilting!!!
