The Process Pledge!!!

Hi There!

I've bit the bullet, after reading Pat's Patter Blog, and then clicked on rOssie's blog:

I, Rosa, from Rosa's World, pledge to talk more about my processes, even when I can’t quite put them in the in words or be sure I’m being totally clear. I’m going to put my thinking and my gut feelings out there.

So, here's what I'm (still) working on.

My friend Frummie calls it a "Take-Along" project.

I prefer to call it a "Sew in the Evening" project, while watching TV.

I've posted about it before but will try and take more pc

(13 stars across - first strip, to the left, is complete)

There are a total of 104 stars, in this table topper. The pattern's from "American Patchwork and Quilting", June 2010.

I'm hand piecing everything and to be honest, it's a "first" for me.

Didn't care to do the "stars", but I soon got into it and LOVE making them, now!

Didn't care to start piecing them together, but now I'm hooked!

LOL

And now, I'm kinda scare about those hexagons... As you can see in the second picture, this is where they're supposed to go.

Sooooo..... this is my "Creative Process", with these stars.

I promise to keep you posted on my progress!

Rosa
P.S. Will add rOssie's button, later this evening.

Rosa, I just found those lovely stars pattern when I checked American patchwork out from the library. It looks like fun and you are hand-piecing! Hooray. Are you marking the seams like in the pattern? RVJan

WOWZER, you have made a ton of progress on this project. I almost have 24 of them done, but no hexies printed yet. You are zooming along! Impressive.

Funny, I thought I was doing well today making two little stars up, LOL. Guess I've a way to go to catch up!
I hope to fix in another hex tomorrow..
I have only printed out 4 hexes so far and one is already stitched in ;)) I'm making mine in the same way as Frummie.
